Terms and Conditions
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the www.luhusurfco.com website and the conditions applicable to bookings made through the platform and provided by Enthusiastic Warriors Surf Camp Lda, with registered office at Rua Beco da Av. da Colónia, n.º 33, 4740-032 Apúlia – Esposende, Portugal, Tax ID 514723955, hereinafter referred to as Luhu Surf Co.
By making a booking through this website, the guest confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bookings
All bookings are subject to accommodation availability for the selected dates.
To make a booking, the guest must provide accurate and complete information, including their name, email address, telephone number and any other information required during the booking process.
A booking will only be considered confirmed once confirmation is displayed on the website and/or sent to the email address provided by the guest.
Guests should check the details included in the booking confirmation and report any errors as soon as possible.
3. Prices
All prices displayed on the website are quoted in euros (€) and include legally applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
The total price of the stay will be displayed before the booking is confirmed.
Additional services, fees or charges that are not included in the accommodation price may apply, provided they are clearly identified before completion of the booking or in the specific conditions of the accommodation.
Where applicable, a tourist tax may be charged separately in accordance with the regulations of the municipality in which the accommodation is located.
4. Payment
Payment may be made using the payment methods available on the Luhu Surf Co. website, including PayPal or bank transfer.
A 30% deposit of the total booking amount is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining 70% of the booking amount is payable upon arrival at Luhu Surf Co.
The applicable payment conditions will always be displayed before the booking is confirmed.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the selected rate and will be displayed during the booking process.
Free cancellation: Cancellations made up to 45 days before the scheduled arrival date are free of charge. The 30% deposit will be fully refunded.
Late cancellation: Cancellations made less than 45 days before the scheduled arrival date will result in the 30% deposit being non-refundable.
If the room or bed is successfully rebooked for the same dates, the deposit may be refunded.
6. No-Show
If the guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and has not previously cancelled the booking, the reservation will be considered a no-show.
In case of a no-show, the 30% deposit will be non-refundable and the reservation may be cancelled by Luhu Surf Co.
7. Booking Changes
Requests to change booking dates, the number of guests or other booking details must be made at least 45 days before the scheduled arrival date and are subject to availability.
Changes requested less than 45 days before arrival may be considered at the discretion of Luhu Surf Co. and are subject to availability.
Any difference in price resulting from a booking change will be payable by the guest.
Any change will only be considered valid once confirmed in writing by Luhu Surf Co.
8. Check-in and Check-out
Unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation:
– Check-in: from 15:00
– Check-out: until 11:00
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability.
Guests may be required to present a valid identification document upon check-in, in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
9. Number of Guests
The number of guests staying at Luhu Surf Co. may not exceed the maximum occupancy stated for the booked room.
Only guests included in the booking are permitted to stay at the accommodation. Additional guests must be approved in advance by Luhu Surf Co. and may be subject to an additional charge.
10. Children and Extra Beds
Conditions regarding children and requests for extra beds should be made before booking and must be confirmed by Luhu Surf Co. Additional charges may apply.
11. Pets
Pets are permitted upon prior request.
Where pets are permitted, specific accommodation rules may apply.
12. Use of the Accommodation
Guests must use the accommodation responsibly and take reasonable care of all facilities, furniture, equipment and other property made available to them.
Parties, events or activities likely to disturb other guests or third parties are not permitted unless expressly authorised.
Guests are responsible for any damage attributable to them or to other persons included in their booking.
13. House Rules
Guests must comply with the house rules, including any designated quiet hours, typically between 23:00 and 08:00.
Behaviour that compromises the safety, comfort or integrity of the accommodation may result in appropriate measures being taken by Luhu Surf Co.
14. Unavailability of the Accommodation
If, due to exceptional circumstances, the booked accommodation cannot be provided, Luhu Surf Co. will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative.
If no suitable alternative can be provided or accepted by the guest, amounts paid for services that cannot be provided will be refunded, without prejudice to any other rights available under applicable law.
15. Website Information and Images
Luhu Surf Co. makes reasonable efforts to ensure that photographs, descriptions, facilities, features and other information displayed on the website accurately represent the accommodation.
Minor differences may occur as a result of changes in decoration, maintenance, replacement of equipment or other modifications that do not substantially affect the characteristics of the booked accommodation.
16. Liability
Luhu Surf Co. shall not be liable for loss or damage resulting from circumstances that cannot reasonably be attributed to it, without prejudice to any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
17. Force Majeure
Luhu Surf Co. shall not be liable for failure to fulfil its obligations where such failure results from force majeure or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
Where possible, appropriate alternative solutions will be offered to the guest.
18. Personal Data
Personal data collected during the booking process will be processed for the purposes of managing bookings, providing the contracted services, complying with legal obligations and for any other purposes identified in the Privacy Policy.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection legislation.

20. Alternative Dispute Resolution
In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may contact the competent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity in accordance with applicable legislation.

21. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
The Luhu Surf Co. reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
As a general rule, each booking will be governed by the Terms and Conditions presented to and accepted by the guest at the time the booking was made, without prejudice to any changes required by applicable law.
